Ring Making Masterclasses at Catherine Best

We are delighted to announce that we are now hosting ring making masterclasses in our Elizabeth Street workshop. Joining these classes will give you a captivating behind-the-scenes peek into the world of jewellery making, where you will learn techniques that have been perfected over centuries.
On your arrival at our Elizabeth Street showroom our team will warmly welcome you with a light breakfast and provide a concise introduction to the art of jewellery making. As part of the introductory process, we will measure your ring size and discuss the specific type of ring you'd like to create, ensuring that our jeweller is prepared ahead of the class.
After the introduction you will be taken to our workshop where you will meet our friendly and skilled jeweller where he will provide a detailed explanation of the techniques you will be utilizing throughout the morning. During the class, we will showcase a selection of loose gemstones to further ignite your inspiration. While incorporating stones into your design is optional and may incur an additional cost, we are more than willing to discuss this possibility with you. Additionally, if you wish, we can also explore the option of casting the ring in gold or platinum.
Once you have completed crafting your unique ring, it will be carefully stored in our workshop. Our jeweller will assist you with any final touches before the ring proceeds to the moulding and casting stage, where it will be crafted in silver for you to for a lifetime. To commemorate the occasion, we invite you to raise a glass of champagne and celebrate immediately after the class!
Our ring making classes are thoughtfully designed to be informative, engaging, and above all, fun. We can accommodate up to four guests, making them perfect for groups, pairs, or even if you prefer to join on your own and meet like-minded individuals. The cost per person for these classes is £495.
