Tell us a brief history of your brand – how it all began, what you do and your plans for the future.

I was pregnant with my third child when the idea came to me.  I wanted to do something creative and having two young babies and a third one on the way inspired our original and now iconic best-selling product, the Angel Wing velour onesie.  Creating super soft, luxurious and original babywear is how the brand started and expanding the collection remains our focus.

How long have you been based in Belgravia?

We opened the Marie-Chantal store in November 2018.

What is your favourite memory/anecdote in/about Belgravia?

Over the years, I’ve always loved Belgravia – it’s home to many new or unusual brands.Years ago, when I was living in New York, I’d always make a stop on Motcomb Street to visit a make-up brand called Make Up For Ever. I wanted the Marie-Chantal store to be a special destination and Motcomb Street was the perfect location as it’s a pedestrian street, which means that when you visit, you have a lovely shopping experience.

Talk us through your ideal day in Belgravia, where would you visit, eat, drink, shop, workout, relax?

I enjoy starting the day with coffee at Ottolenghi. Daylesford and Smythson are on my go-to list for shopping and to relax, I love the spa at the Berkeley.

Where is your favourite spot in Belgravia?

Motcomb Street, of course!

What is your commute to Belgravia (whether it’s a walk down stairs, a cycle through Eaton Square or a journey on the Victoria line!)?

Walking from Elizabeth Street to Motcomb Street along Sloane Street is always a pleasure.  It’s interesting to see what other brands are doing and it’s such a pretty neighbourhood.

What is it that makes Belgravia so unique?

I love that it feels like a village and attracts very creative, small independent brands, which are known for their luxury products. It feels original and interesting.
