Tucked away from the hustle and bustle of central London, Eccleston Yards is an idyllic, open space full of shops, restaurants, street art and a central courtyard. The space will now be home to a regular market launching Sunday 16 August and will run every week from 11am to 5pm with a mix of products and live music. Peruse the vendors selling the finest cheeses and chutneys, homeware and art, plants and flowers, sweet treats and delicious drinks in the knowledge that everything is produced with an artisan touch from independent labels and small businesses.

It’s also a great excuse to see some of the much-loved cafes and restaurants reopening from Wild By Tart to The Jones Family Kitchen plus newly opened coffee spot Morena.

If you enjoy the summer for serene walks about one of London’s most historic neighbourhoods, there are plenty of beautiful spaces to enjoy. The expansive Grosvenor Square is the second largest square in the capital and perfect for watching the local dogs take their daily walks. Brown Hart Gardens in Mayfair is just minutes away from Oxford Street but could be a different world completely, offering a brief oasis from the buzz of London life. Belgravia’s Halkin Arcade is a secret garden to relax, eat, drink and dine throughout summer.
