Places to Eat On Pimlico Road London

Belgravia is known worldwide for its beautiful architecture and shady garden squares that are steeped in history. Building in this area was largely completed by the 1840s but its design has continued to transform over the years to meet new demands of day-to-day life.

One of the elements that never ceases to move with the times and continues to improve as the years go by is the variety of restaurants near Pimlico Road. They are considered some of the best in the capital and for very good reason.

It is open all day providing coffee and breakfast in the morning through to something a little stronger and more hearty of an evening. The music is always playing and the friendly staff are always on hand to give you the warmest welcome.

At the weekend, Number 11 Pimlico Road offers a bottomless brunch where you can pay £35 per person to enjoy as many mimosas, mojitos or soft drinks as you like

Daylesford Organic

Price: Chicken and winter vegetable soup £9. Spiced Salmon Ceviche £14. Venison haunch £13.50.

Website: Daylesford Organic

Daylesford Farm is one of our favourite organic farm shops and cafes in the entire city. It is just around the corner from Sloane Square and offers everything you need to enjoy a healthy lunch and also pick up some supplies while you are there.

All produce is delivered fresh every morning from their own organic farm in the Cotswolds with artisan bread, fruit, vegetables, meat and everything else that is available. The cafe menu changes with the seasons using only the freshest ingredients.

Enoteca Turi

Location: 87 Pimlico Road, London

Prices: Risotto with artichoke £23.50. Linguini di Gragnano £28.50. Slow-cooked oxtail £32.50.

Website: Enoteca Turi

This family-run Italian restaurant has an award-winning wine list and offers some of the most amazing cuisine inspired by the Puglia region. The restaurant’s owner, Giuseppe, arrived in London in 1982 and trained as a sommelier at the Connaught Hotel before opening Enoteca Turi with his wife in 1990.

They moved from their original location in Putney in 2016 and Belgravia now benefits from some of the freshest and most delicious Italian cuisine in London. This well-established restaurant near Pimlico Road continues to draw in large crowds at all times of year, so it is best to book in advance.

Hunan

Location: 51 Pimlico Road, London

Prices: Lunch menu £58.80 per person. Dinner menu £92.80 per person

Website: Hunan

Ever heard of Chinese tapas? The small plates of food that are more commonly associated with Spain have been on offer here at Hunan since 1982 with one of the most curious dining experiences around. This place doesn’t have a menu, so you won’t be able to choose your own dishes. Instead, you simply tell the staff if there’s any food you don’t like and they prepare small dishes for you to try with your drinks.

There is a heavy Taiwanese influence here so don’t expect too many traditional Chinese platters to make their way onto your table. Suggestions such as double-cooked pork, wind-dried meat, braised pork and spicy aubergine may all turn up at some point.

The Orange Public House & Hotel

Location: 37 Pimlico Road, London SW1W 8NE

Prices: Grilled Baby Artichokes, Spinach, Bagna Cuda, Pecorino and Foccacia £15. Roast Beetroot with Avocado, Orange, Toasted Hazelnuts, Sheeps Cheese £17. Grilled Whole Sea Bream with Fennel, Blood Orange, Black Olives and Fresh Herbs £30

Website: The Orange Public House & Hotel

Our final suggestion, and one of the best restaurants near Pimlico Road, is the Orange Public House and Hotel. This former brewery was lovingly restored into a fantastic gastropub that is now set out over 4 floors. Close to the historical Sloane Square, this grade two listed building is home to an incredible menu that has one eye on local and sustainable produce that changes with the seasons.
