Botanical appliqué workshop at Edward Bulmer Natural Paint

Design your own three dimensional flower artwork to take home at this creative workshop on 25 May at Edward Bulmer Natural Paint.

To celebrate the launch of artist Natasha Hulse’s latest collection with furniture makers Lorfords Contemporary, Natasha will be hosting the special workshop at Edward Bulmer’s Ebury Road store as part of Belgravia in Bloom 2023.

Taking the botanical appliqué used on her new headboard collection as the starting inspiration, this informal workshop will show students how to work with fabric and natural paints to design their own three dimensional flower artwork to take away from the workshop and frame at home.

An introductory demonstration will showcase Natasha’s individual approach to appliqué as she explains her creative process step-by-step. Then it’s onto a ‘hands-on’ session with a guided lesson of drawing artworks, filling flowers with pattern, colour and decorative elements using paint and fabrics techniques.

Students will also have a chance to view the Edward Bulmer Natural Paint store with a special installation of Natasha’s works.

All levels are welcome. Book the workshop.
