Studio Pottery London has come together with Alexa Chung to introduce a brand new workshop for 2023, focused on hand-made tiles.

First launched in 2019 in Belgravia’s Eccleston Yards, Studio Pottery London set out with the aim to bring ceramic craft to a new audience. Now, the studio has launched a new regular workshop to teach guests how to create tiles, piloted by Lucy Attwood (Studio Director) and Studio Pottery London member, Alexa Chung.

The introductory workshops combine both practical and creative elements to get pupils used to working with clay and glazes, offering beginners the opportunity to make and decorate their own tiles for their kitchens and bathrooms.

The tile workshops will take place every Tuesday from 2.30pm – 4.30pm at Studio Pottery London and are priced at £180 for two workshops with all equipment and firing provided. During the first workshop, guests will learn to roller and cut tiles which will then be fired to bisque. Two weeks later guests are invited back to decorate their tiles using a variety of techniques.
