To mark International Women’s Day, we’re shining a light on Belgravia’s fabulous female-founded businesses, including restaurants, cafes, beauty salons and fashion boutiques.

Beautiful Belgravia is bursting with female-founded brands.

Star turns include popular neighbourhood restaurant Wild by Tart, which was founded by Jemima Jones and Lucy Carr-Ellison, the successful duo behind bespoke catering company Tart London. Based in leafy Eccleston Yards near Victoria station, Wild by Tart is a 9,000 sq ft venue combining a restaurant, bar, shop, events space and photography studio. The restaurant offers a relaxed menu with flavourful dishes using seasonal ingredients, sustainably sourced where possible.

A stone's throw away on pretty Elizabeth Street is family-run jeweller Catherine Best. A formidable businesswoman and award-winning jeweller, Catherine Best set up her label in 1987, and it soon gained popularity thanks to its line in unique, high-quality jewellery inspired by the natural beauty of Guernsey and Jersey. The luxury brand has developed into a second-generation business empire supported by Catherine's daughters Vikki and Penelope.

On the Pimlico Road near Sloane Square tube station is Soane Britain, co-founded by Lulu Lytle. One of the most famous brands in the world of interiors, Soane Britain designs and makes high-end furniture, upholstery, lighting, fabrics, wallpapers and interior necessities. As well as having a boutique in design hub Pimlico Road, Soane has branches in New York and San Francisco.

Also in Belgravia is The Judith Blacklock Flower School, which was founded by Judith who has been teaching floristry courses in London for more than 30 years. The flower school has earned a reputation for teaching classic flower arranging skills and contemporary design in a friendly environment. Here we've rounded up a few of Belgravia's top female-founded boutiques and restaurants:
