Embrace those green fingers and make the most of Belgravia’s week-long tribute to all things floral.

3. Learn something new

If you’re in your 20s or 30s, the chances are that many of your weekends will be taken up with weddings this summer. Helpfully, this week, the Judith Blacklock Flower School on Kinnerton Street will be running a series of mini workshops that will teach you how to make a floral buttonhole – perfect for any upcoming nuptials. Once you’ve shaped your masterpiece, pick up a glass of Bucks Fizz and take the opportunity to ask Judith and her team any questions you have about where and what to buy, and how to arrange your flowers.

4. Put your nose to the test

At Les Senteurs on Elizabeth Street, customers are invited to smell three mystery oils, extracted from a variety of natural flora, and will receive a 25% discount on any one purchase upon correctly identifying all three oils. The so-called ‘Great Ingredient Challenge’ is run in collaboration with one of the world’s top developers of perfume ingredients, and is a unique opportunity to gain an insight into the world of perfumery.

5. Visit an exhibition

Luminaire Arts is an organic collective platform at Grosvenor Place that works in partnership with emerging and established artists. Its ‘Urban Bloom’ exhibition runs until 27 May. The exhibition will showcase exclusive works from five handpicked artists that work in the realms of botanicals, nature and urban architecture.
