Cox London has opened its new showroom at 46 Pimlico Road, where the brand’s sculptural collections of interior artworks are presented in an impressive 2000 sq ft gallery space.

Founded by sculptor makers Nicola and Christopher Cox in 2006, the British company has built a reputation for hand making remarkable pieces of furniture, lighting, mirrors, and ornamental objects inspired by the flow and structure of natural design and order using both ancient and modern artisan and craft skills.

The new atmospheric Pimlico Road showroom displays a broad variety of the brand’s large-scale pieces. Currently featured in the expansive window displays are two halves of a round Magnolia chandelier that is approximately two metres in diameter. Within the showroom all the metalware fixtures, including the stair balustrades, minimal bronze skirting and meeting room divides were all made in house by Cox London.

The founders comment, “We’ve spent 30 years exploring what we might like our world to look like – through artistry, artisanal making, craft, and design. We strive to unlock the nature within every piece we create and cultivate and illuminate and animate the spaces they inhabit. At 46 Pimlico Road, we hope to realise our vision whilst bringing joy, a calm refuge and warm welcome to anyone who walks off the street.
