The Pimlico Road Series

The Pimlico Road Series for London Craft Week showcases the design district as home to many of the world’s most renowned design brands, with inspiring talks and panels, interactive workshops and fascinating demonstrations with the makers themselves. 


Soane are showcasing botanical watercolour by the British artist Emma Tennant in their Pimlico Road showroom. Spotlighting Emma’s talent and craft. ‘A Celebration of Gardening’ will show flowers, fruit and vegetables largely grown in Emma’s garden, creating a botanical tour and allowing viewers to journey through the seasons with her from the fine weather in spring and early summer right through to the colder Scottish autumn.

Robert Kime

Join Robert Kime throughout the day in his London showroom on 7 October as the team showcases the skills of their craftsmen. Throughout the day the craftsmen will care and restore a selection of Robert Kime’s antique Persian rugs.

Sibyl Colefax & John Fowler

Throughout London Craft Week Sibyl Colefax & John Fowler will be showing an exhibition of Geoffrey Preston’s new work. Preston is an English architectural sculptor specialising in decorative plaster and the art of stucco. The exhibition has an emphasis on flower sculpture and is set amidst the beautiful fabrics, antique furniture and fine paintings in legendary interior decorators Sibyl Colefax & John Fowler’s showroom.

Chelsea Textiles

Chelsea Textiles are hosting a talk and cocktail evening on 6 October with textile designer Neisha Crosland and Curator of the Museum of Home, Danielle Patten, to discuss the history of botanicals in the home. On 7 October join Kit Kemp at Chelsea Textiles, where she will be discussing her design secrets and her passion for craftspeople.

The Edward Barnsley Workshop presents a new Easy Chair design developed in association with Bernie de Le Cuona. The chair is on display in the de Le Cuona Pimlico Road showroom throughout London Craft Week.

Jamb has collaborated with Coade, commissioning them to make a series of anatomical sculptural studies inspired by masters of the Renaissance. Coade’s workshop has rediscovered the recipe for a type of English terracotta, formulated by Eleanor Coade in the 18th century, used as sculptural medium to be free modelled and cast, then fired to a high temperature.

Cox London

Cox London has created a new film following the journey of ‘The Voyager’s Chair’, a unique bronze piece on display in their showroom throughout London Craft Week. An accompanying exhibition by award-winning photographer Alun Callender celebrates the hands that shape Cox London creations.

Collier Webb

During London Craft Week, Collier Webb’s master craftsman Adam Pattison will be demonstrating the intricate techniques used to create the brand’s new handcrafted cordless lamp, the Mini Messenger Palm. Alongside a live pattern-making demonstration, visitors will be introduced to the traditional, time-honed metal casting techniques used at the Collier Webb factory.

Daylesford are hosting a series of workshops and events that explore the traditional crafts of Harvest – a showcase of artisan skills which celebrate food, floristry and homeware from wreath making with hops and corn husks, to working with the gentle nature of seeds, to a celebration of cider making and fermenting.

Carl Hansen & Son

Carl Hansen & Son are hosting a demonstration reflecting on the modern and timeless, spotlighting their classic Wishbone Chair in a new contemporary colour. During the demonstration, one of the brand’s skilled craftspeople from Denmark will showcase how the seat of this classic design is handwoven in paper cord.

Daily Dress Edit Pop Up

At the Daily Dress Edit pop-up by Isabel Spearman, three emerging designers will present their craft live in the store. Textile specialist Freya Simonne and designer Jeanie from Back by Sundown, who works exclusively with sustainably sourced fabric, will be hand stitching dresses, and Mekala from contemporary fashion brand Manimekala will be hand marbling fabric.

Studio Pottery

Demystification of the Moonjar Salon event – Join Michel Francois Porcelain, Gregory Tingay, Jinsoo Park (Han Collection Gallery) & others on Thursday 7 October from 6.30pm, for an informal discussion about the current fashionable western enthusiasm for an ancient Korean ceramic form. Taking place on Motcomb Street are two exclusive exhibitions. ‘Design Tasmania’ with London based, Tasmanian designer Brodie Neil, will revisit the indigenous timbers of Tasmania through the innovation of Hydrowood, a precious resource reclaimed from the depths of the island’s lakes. ‘Outside In’ by Sarah Myerscough Gallery will explore the profound beauty of imperfection and vulnerability through a multiplicity of materials.

Eccleston Yards Market

The Eccleston Yards Market will host a special two-day market curated by Studio Pottery London member potters and artists, taking place on 9-10 October from 11am to 6pm. The initiative stems from the desire to form a community around the love of pottery in all its forms and enable everyone to enjoy this craft. The event will be accompanied by live music and al-fresco dining.
